NFTC is pleased to maintain an open peering policy. However, we have a few guidelines to limit administrative burden:
- Peers must have a minimum of 10 Mbps traffic to or from NFTC.
- Peering must not be used for a default route nor a route not advertised.
- Peers must have current, accurate information at www.peeringdb.com.
- Peer NOC contact must be reachable 24x7, and an appropriate engineer must either respond or be escalated to in a timely manner.
- Use of filtering is required. NFTC generates prefix lists from IRR data so make sure your AS-SET is updated and complete.
- Downstream customers of NFTC cannot peer with NFTC.
